I tried to get the spacing as close to the book as possible. If I
could not fit the whole figure across the width of the page, I
continued it on the next line indented.

Key:

h = hammer
BF = bend full
BFR = bend full and release
BH = bend half
P.M. = palm mute
/\/\/ = vibrato
% = repeat previous

(slide) -------------------------------------------------------------------->| O.K. So the song goes like this: (Rhy. Fig. 1) x 2 (Chorus w/Rhy. Fig. 1) x 2 Take me down to the paradise city, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty. Oh won't you please take me home. (Rhy. Fig. 2) x 2 [(Riff B then Riff B-1) w/Rhy. Fig. 2] [(Riff B then Riff B-2) w/Rhy. Fig. 2] (Riff C) (Verse 1 w/Rhy. Fig. 3) Just an urchin livin' under the street. I'm a ... hard case that's tough to beat. I'm your charity case, so buy me something to eat. I'll pay you at another time. (Riff C) (Verse 2 w/Rhy. Fig. 3) (Chorus w/Rhy. Fig. 1) x 2 (Solo) not included Then comes this.... |------10-----------10-------10-----------10------8------| |--------------------------------------------------------| |10h11----12--10h11----10h11----12--10h11----8h9---------| |--------------------------------------------------------| |--------------------------------------------------------| |--------------------------------------------------------| So far a - way. After which slide each note on the G string (3rd from the bottom) down two frets (i.e. 10--8h9----8h9) for a while and then move it back up two frets and so on. I think that is about it. I am not going to get into the really fast part at the end. It's about 4 1/2 pages long and will take more time then I have available. If I messed something up email me directly so I can fix it and re-send it. If you want the solo or the fast part it would probably make more sense just to go out and buy the book then to ask for it.
