I don't know if this will be of interest to you or your tab
reading afficionados, but this is the transcription of a song a little
known British band have been known to do mid-set. I don't think a
recording exists. It is devestatingly simple, yet quite catchy, operating
with an acoustic guitar and (preferably) a Tibetan backbeat.

Arse McShannon & his Himalayan Band - Reet Snowy Peaks

Introduction :

This is a strummed open D7 chord with the picking :

e---------0--2----0--2wwwwww-
B-------3------3--------------
G-----------------------------

Over which is sung, "Oh there be"

Verse :

  G
Reet snowy peaks
  C
Reet snowy peaks NB The D's are played and then
D slid up an octave up the neck
Reet snowy peaks
  D
Reet snowy peaks
  D
Reet snowy peaks let's go once more

Repeat verse

Instrumental : Same chords only E-shaped barres, with riffing to the sus4
shape towards the end of this line - if you've heard it you'll know what
I mean.

Last verse : same as first with last line :
"Reet snowy peaks, lets end it there."

Then play the G/Gsus4 riff on the 3rd fret barre chord in a similar
manner to on George Michael's "Faith" Indeed, by transposing the chord up
to B (7th fret) when you've finished, you can link straight into it.

Cheers

Jez.
